The Ministry of Press, Information oversees communication, publications, and information management so that students, leadership, and stakeholders remain accurately informed and connected.
How the office works
- The Minister directs communication strategy, supervises ministry outputs, and represents the ministry in official engagements.
- The Deputy Minister supports media coordination, publication planning, and public information activities.
- The Secretary handles correspondence, records, schedules, and administrative documentation for ministry operations.

Coordinates press and information activities of OUTSO.

Calls for student articles for OUTSO publications (newspapers, magazines, journals, periodicals) ahead of publication.

Initiates and releases publications and disseminates information in support of OUTSO objectives (requires consent of Secretary General and DSA).
- 4
Initiates and runs media (audio-visual, radio, TV) for communication.
- 5
Establishes documentation facilities for custody of information published and received.
- 6
Facilitates communication among OUTSO leaders, OUT Management, and students.
- 7
Performs other related duties.
